Job Summary: The primary role of the Master Production Scheduler is to create job methods and schedule the workflow of jobs across 3 factories to help ensure customer ship dates are met.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Work with manufacturing to ensure all jobs are started in a timely manner with an end goal of achieving expected job completion dates.

Maintain ship by and need by dates within the Epicor Sales Order

Maintain Job completion dates within Epicor

Maintain resource groups, resources, shop calendars, operations, departments within Epicor ERP System

Responsible for Weekly Smoothed Load, ACS Production Summary, Job Priority Schedule and Electrical Progress reports.

Helps lead weekly production meeting

Ensure accurate operation estimates based on historical performance

Ensure all department supervisors are properly trained to log in/out of jobs, complete operations and to utilize the Shop Tracker report.

May be responsible for additional tasks as they arrive

Technical Experience:
-
Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Epicor, including modules for scheduling, job tracking, and resource planning•

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production flow in a multi-site environment

Ability to analyze production data and generate reports for decision-making

Experience with load leveling, capacity planning, and shop floor control

Strong understanding of BOMs (Bill of Materials), routings, and manufacturing lead times

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience scheduling inside an ERP system is required, Epicor knowledge is a plus

Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate good listening skills

Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations

Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment
Required Education:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field

3-5 years of production scheduling experience
Physical Working Conditions:
-
Primarily office-based with frequent visits to the production floor
-
Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate manufacturing areas for extended periods
-
Exposure to a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels, machinery, and occasional temperature fluctuations
-
May require wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection when on the shop floor
